Convaincue que le bien-être des salariés constitue un élément essentiel de la productivité, de l’engagement et de la loyauté à long terme, la PME québécoise NOVO, désormais connue sous le nom de CLEIO, a relevé un défi audacieux en instaurant le poste de chief happiness officer (CHO). La présente étude examine en détail les fonctions et les responsabilités de ce poste, tout en explorant les dimensions du bien-être hédonique et eudémonique. Le cas met aussi en lumière les difficultés et les risques psychosociaux que ce responsable peut affronter.

Convinced that employee well-being is an essential element of long-term productivity, commitment, and loyalty, the Quebec-based SME NOVO, now known as CLEIO, has taken on a bold challenge by introducing the position of chief happiness officer (CHO). This case study details the position’s duties and responsibilities, exploring the dimensions of hedonic and eudemonic well-being. It also highlights the difficulties and psychosocial risks that CHOs may face.
