Ce cas retrace les trois phases du processus de formation d’une filière reconnue comme pionnière de la biométhanisation dans la région de Saint-Hyacinthe sur deux décennies. Si, au début des années 2020, Saint-Hyacinthe est reconnue comme telle au Québec, le processus de formation de sa filière aura requis l’apport de nombreux individus au cours de longues années, ainsi que celui des réseaux qu’ils ont établis.

This case study traces the three phases of the development of an industry recognized as a pioneer in biomethane in the Saint-Hyacinthe region over two decades. If Saint-Hyacinthe was recognized as such in Quebec in the early 2020s, the emergence of its industry required the contribution of many individuals over many years, as well as that of the networks they created.
