La Galerie Horace, un centre d’artistes autogéré, connaît une transformation importante. Suite à une mise en suspens de ses activités durant neuf mois, la restructuration de l’organisme permet l’inauguration de Sporobole, centre en art actuel. Les objectifs principaux de cette refonte sont de rebâtir sur une base nouvelle l’appréciation de la communauté de la région à l’égard du centre ainsi que de renouveler l’opinion que s’en font les différents acteurs du secteur de l’art actuel. Une telle légitimité doit s’établir tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur d’un organisme.

The Galerie Horace, an artist-run centre, has undergone a major transformation. Following a nine-month period of inactivity, the gallery has restructured its organization and is reopening as the Centre en art actuel Sporobole. The main objective of this redesign was to review the positioning of the Centre within the context of other contemporary art centres and to establish its credibility with both the public and the artistic community. This legitimacy must be established both within and outside the organization.
