Ce cas présente l'histoire de vie de Ben Levitsky, un Juif polonais de l'Holocauste qui a immigré au Canada dans les années 1950 et a fondé une entreprise qui manufacture des produits chimiques pour l'agriculture. Le cas permet de faire des liens entre les expériences de vie formatrices, la personalité, le style de gestion et l'orientation stratégiques d'un entrepreneur. Des entrevues avec les membres de l'équipe de direction et des descriptions du fonctionnement de l'équipe sont aussi fournies.

The case presents the life story of Ben Levitsky, a Polish Jew and Holocaust survivor who immigrated to Canada in the 1950s and founded a firm manufacturing pesticides and insecticides. The case provides an opportunity to draw links between formative life experiences, personality, management style and strategic orientation. Interviews with members of Ben Levitsky's top management team and an overview of TMT functioning in the firm are also provided.
