En 2020, la direction de l’Union des producteurs agricoles du Québec Développement international (UPA DI) fait le point sur un partenariat Haïti-Québec favorisant la création d’une chaîne de valeur circulaire agroalimentaire en Haïti. En effet, la mise en place de cette approche en 2013 a permis de renforcer tous les maillons de la chaîne dans quatre régions d’Haïti très affectées par le séisme de 2010. Force est de constater que malgré les nombreux bénéfices de ce partenariat, plusieurs questions se posent.

In 2020, the management of the Union des producteurs agricoles du Québec Développement international (UPA DI) took stock of a Haiti-Quebec partnership promoting the creation of a circular agri-food value chain in Haiti. Indeed, the implementation of this approach in 2013 has helped strengthen all links in the chain in four Haitian regions that were severely affected by the 2010 earthquake. It is clear that despite the many benefits of this partnership, several questions remain.
