We open this latest issue of the IJCSM with a case (available in English and French) on the strategic challenges faced by a large car dealership that is also a family-owned business (“Groupe Park Avenue : croissance et transitions”). The next case (in English) looks at an eventful ERP implementation in the context of a Colombian hospital (“Surviving SAP Implementation in a Hospital”). The focus then shifts from Cali to Quebec, with a case (“Rise Kombucha : la recette marketing”) (in French) that explores the marketing behind the success of the beverage Rise Kombucha. Finally, four cases in this issue give pride of place to art and culture: the first examines the strategy adopted by the musician Pretty Lights (“Pretty Lights et les bundles sur BitTorrent”) to survive in a music industry redefined by free downloading. The next two cases are set in the world of Canadian dance (“Geneviève Salbaing et l’histoire des Ballets Jazz de Montréal : savoir danser au rythme du temps” and “Ludmilla Chiriaeff : femme de conviction et fondatrice d’institutions consacrées à la danse au Québec”), while the last case focuses on a university art gallery (“La Galerie d’art Foreman de l’Université Bishop’s : comment jongler avec des perspectives différentes”).
