Le cas présente la compagnie I3D, firme en forte croissance dans le domaine de la fabrication rapide. Bien que l’entreprise affiche de très bons résultats, ses opérations sont désorganisées. Le progiciel de gestion en place ne supporte visiblement plus les besoins d’affaires d’I3D.
